Sofia Paramedicals and Management Institute (SPMI) is a new initiative of Sofia Educational and Welfare Society (Regd.) where SEWS has already been engaged in conducting different short term courses since 2004 and had produced a large number of professionals under different segments i.e. stitching & tailoring, Computers, Beauty Culture, Calligraphy, AC/ Refrigerator repairing, Electrician, Apparel manufacturing, Urdu, Arabic & Persian Language, professional cooking and Mehendi. Apart from this, Sofia is also running various social projects such as Mahila Panchayats, Night Shelters, Mashwara – to aware people about Govt. welfare schemes and many more.
Now, Sofia Paramedicals and Management Institute (SPMI) under Sofia Educational and Welfare Society (Regd.) has introduced a bunch of courses in the paramedical stream.
The paramedical stream is one of the most important stream of Medical sector, playing a pivotal role in shaping the aspirants and thereby escalating the economy of a country. Paramedics are one of the backbones of medical fraternity, known as “Allied Health Forces”. They assist the doctors in laboratory, operation theatre, ophthalmic depts., deal with disasters and many other emergency situations at hospitals / health centers. They perform investigation and help doctors in diagnosing the actual ailments.
These courses are job orientated and have the present ample employment opportunities. They train the aspirants for real life medical situations.
In comparison to the other professional courses, the paramedical courses are cheaper but of much significance. The students may escalate their career from certificate, diploma to graduation, post graduation and finally the doctorate.
